Fresh off its performance of “The Great Gatsby,” BalletMet presents another classic updated with fresh ideas and dance sequences.

The premiere of “Cinderella” will fuse original choreography by BalletMet artistic director Edwaard Liang with Sergei Prokofiev’s iconic score to offer audiences an innovative take on one of the world’s most popular compositions.

Featuring more than 100 young dancers, in addition to 26 professional BalletMet members, the production of “Cinderella” will be second to none, but the dance company didn’t stop there. In addition to this gifted group, former soloist dancer Susan Dromisky (formerly of the National Ballet School of Canada, English National Ballet, and BalletMet’s current Ballet Mistress) will play Cinderella’s wicked stepmother in select performances.
