Exhibit preview: "Intersections"

The Cultural Arts Center has been exhibiting some of the best art in Columbus this year, and continues the trend with Lewanda Lim. Lim is a Philippines-born painter and fabric artist living in Gahanna, and “Intersections” is epitomized by her experiences in both cultures. The exhibit contains two series, “Telling Our Story” — paintings chronicling the experience of Filipino culture in America — and “Fabric Reconsidered”— a collage of shapes and figures and “zillions” of stitches.
