Local sculptor and installation artist Dana Lynn Harper will explore the power of imagination in her latest solo show.

Harper represents the endless potential of the imagination by building pieces from collected objects, toys and patterns — including color combinations from cartoons and design of the late ’80s and early ’90s — found at thrift stores.

The works exemplify childhood make-believe, and use illustrations of the cosmos, topography and microscopic biology as inspiration.
