Bug enthusiasts and art lovers finally have something in common: David Rogers’ Big Bugs exhibition.

Since 1994, this show has toured the country, educating the public about the importance of preservation and conservation in the process.

The Long Island resident creates his famed, larger-than-life insect sculptures from fallen and found wood and other natural materials. Ten of his installations (including an 18-foot tall praying mantis) will be on display at Franklin Park Conservatory this summer.
