Arts preview: Faye Driscoll

Jim Fischer

In the first of what is intended to be a trilogy of related works, choreographer Faye Driscoll's witty and charming"Thank You for Coming: Attendance"is designed to both engage and ensnare audiences. Performers pass through perpetually morphing states of physical entanglement and madcap scenes of distorted familiarity, Driscoll's choreography building new bodies, new stories and new ways of reimagining group experience. The piece is staged in the round, offering the audience fresh perspectives for observation and contemplation.
