Arts preview: Art Access Gallery
Jim Fischer

A collection of new paintings from Columbus artist Sharon Dougherty and Cincinnati artist Ursula Brenner will be exhibited along with sculpture by Gambier-based Barry Gunderson through July 20 at Art Access Gallery. Dougherty's work blends modern materials such as mylar with nature-inspired themes. Brenner is at home with both abstracts and landscapes, focusing on elemental aspects in an image. Kenyon College Professor Emeritus creates whimsical pieces inspired by formal and found objects.
