The Countess of Monte Cristo

Actors' Theatre of Columbus continues its 35th season with the new adaptation of the classic Dumas tale "The Count of Monte Cristo." Artistic director Philip J. Hickman and Jennifer Feather Youngblood (who also co-directs) recast the lead role as a woman, providing a shift in perspective that acknowledges not all stories need be told from the perspective of a white male. The cast includes Columbus actor McLane Nagy in the title role.
