Arts preview: Kelsey Leib: 'Haven'

Jim Fischer

Kelsey Leib is the current resident artist at Mona Gazala's Second Sight Project in Franklinton. The residency also marks the second stop on a national tour for Leib's installation, "Haven," a structure made of hand-knit squares which not only invites viewers to come inside, but also to write or draw on its interior "walls." "Haven" runs concurrently with exhibits at Second Sight's other residency spaces - Sign House 737 featuring photographer Jamilla Kato and 730 Bellows Ave. with work from Manner Artist Collective.
