Arts preview: 'Unidentified Human Remains'

Jim Fischer

Playwright Brad Fraser's "Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love" finds its sexually frustrated characters in search of love, sex and meaning, set against the backdrop of a community gripped by fear as a serial killer rapes and mutilates women.

Both homo- and hetero-erotic and rife with twisted humor, the drama addresses timeless and universal themes. Along the way, Fraser skewers sitcom and horror movie tropes.

Michael Herring directs this Red Herring Productions presentation with a local cast.
