Theater preview: 'Pride and Prejudice'

Jim Fischer
Columbus Alive

Jon Jory's rich adaptation of the Jane Austen classic is the second offering of the summer season from Actors' Theatre of Columbus.

If you think rom-coms came about in 1980s-era filmmaking, you missed this work, or perhaps never imagined it the way Jory does. It's no small task to render a 400-page novel in a two-hour stage play, but Jory's yeoman effort is augmented by Mark Mann's direction.
