Workshops, open mics and, of course, plays are the order of the day for this sixth annual festival. Featured productions include Jasmyn Green's “The Stoop,” a preview of State of the Arts Productions' “The Color Purple,” MeloneseYarbrough's “A Memoir of a Broken Self,” Moriah Shiddat's “Paper Dolls” and Helen Yee and Jack Peterson's “A Bride for Kai.” Readings by Is Said and festival founder Julie Whitney Scott are also part of the lineup.
