Arts preview: 'My Great Day in Harlem'

This documentary is part of the year-long “I, Too, Sing America: Harlem Renaissance at 100” campaign in Columbus. The film follows five black Columbus artists on their trip to Harlem to connect with creatives there. Poet Tripp Fontane, designer Samara Tillman, artist Percy King, dancer Lori Lindsey and musician Jay Swifa each gets a segment in the film, which has its public premiere at Gateway Film Center.
