Columbus Alive

Part Medieval pub theater and part modern guerilla art, The Shakespeare Underground, a monthly series from Actors' Theatre of Columbus, is an exercise in shared space and reconsidered performance. Spartan staging that highlights the storytelling reminds audiences of the worth of classic theater. James Joyce's “Exiles,” the novelist's sole surviving work for the stage, gets the Underground treatment in December.
