Columbus Alive

“Funny Girl” opened on Broadway in 1963, helping propel Barbra Streisand's career to new heights along the way to becoming a classic piece of American musical theater. The story of turn-of-the-century Vaudeville star Fanny Brice celebrates Brice as a strong Jewish woman at a time when that wasn't the societal norm. Gahanna native Paula Shtein returns home to play Brice in this Gallery Players production.
