You’re doing the right thing and buying produce at local farmers markets. So how do you prepare that fresh bunch of Swiss chard? The folks at Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s Operation YP hope to show you next Thursday evening at the North Market. Join Local Matters Executive Director and chef Michael Jones as he demonstrates how to make simple and flavorful dishes with local products.

It’s an evening for learning about local food and hunger, and it’s also a chance for young professionals to network and win prizes. Donations at the door will benefit the food bank’s Operation Feed campaign.

And, oh, yes, there will be delicious samples.
