Food News: Camelot Cellars moving to OTE

Long-time campus favoriteBernie's Bagels & Deli/The Distillery announced they will be closing on Dec. 31. The kitchen has already closed, though the bar and live music stage are still going.

Camelot Cellars is expanding and making the move from its Short North home of 10 years to Olde Towne East. With a goal of opening spring of 2016, the winery will add a larger production space, craft beer and a full restaurant emphasizing vegan and vegetarian fare.

The Daily Growler is celebrating its three-year anniversary this Thursday, Dec. 17 from noon to 11 p.m. with arcade games, barrel-aged Christmas beers and food trucks like Por'Ketta and Aloha Street Eatery. The celebrations take place at the Upper Arlington location, 2812 Fishinger Road.

The Whitney House in Worthington is hosting a special Ramen After Dark pop-up this Thursday, Dec. 17. From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., the restaurant will serve a $10 ramen special alongside Rockmill Brewery beers, wine, sake and cocktails.

Skyline Chili announced a new location will open near campus in early 2016.
