Food News: Standard Hall announced for Short North; Condado opens Downtown on Cinco de Mayo

Standard Hall, a new concept from the owners of The Pint House and Forno, was announced for the former Little Brother's/Liquid space at 1100 N. High St. in Short North. The building is undergoing substantial renovations; the completed restaurant and bar will feature large indoor and outdoor spaces.

The newest location ofWinking Lizardopened this week at 492 Polaris Pkwy. in Westerville. The beer-centric tavern includes aLizardville, a separate beer and whiskey bar. This is the first Lizardville in central Ohio.

The newCondado TacosDowntown by the Columbus Commons is set to open on Thursday, May 5. This is the second location for the build-your-own taco joint.

The kiosks forTortilla Street FoodandJeni's Ice Creamsreopen at the Columbus Commons on Friday, April 22. Jeni's also reintroduces two signature flavors in Columbus this Thursday: Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk and Lemon & Blueberries frozen yogurt.

Firehouse Subsopened its newest location last week at 4994 N. Hamilton Rd. in Gahanna.

Red Velvet Cafe ends its weekend Filipino brunch after a final service this Sunday, April 24, although the company has suggested new announcements are coming soon.
