Food News: The Eagle, Butcher & Grocer, Pat & Gracie's and Buns & Brews open

The Butcher & Grocer has opened at 1089 W. First Ave. in Grandview. The butcher shop features Ohio meats, cheeses and delicacies.

Cincinnati-basedThe Eagle has landed in Short North. Owned by the same company behind Bakersfield, the restaurant features fried chicken, southern sides and craft beer.

The city's first B Corp brewery,Commonhouse Ales, began brewing earlier this week. The first offerings - a common ale, a session IPA and a pale wheat - will be available in cans and on tap in early August.

Pat & Gracie's Kitchen and Tavern recently opened at 138 Graceland Blvd. in the Graceland Shopping Center.

The hot dog and craft beer jointBuns & Brews recently opened at 1205 N. High St. in Short North.

The owners ofTristano's Pizzeria in Grove City announced they have sold the restaurant to the crew behindYellow Brick Pizza.

Columbus Brewing Companyannounced it will release its popular Bodhi double IPA in bottles on Saturday, July 16 at the brewery. More information about the ticketed event will be available soon.

TheNorth Market Ohio Wine Festival runs Friday through Sunday, July 8 through 10.

Hang Over Easy near campus announced it will be closed through early August for renovations.
