Food News: Rockmill Tavern opens in the Brewery District; Veritas Tavern coming Downtown

Rockmill Tavern, the first of two Columbus ventures for Rockmill Brewery, held its grand opening this week. Located at 503 S. Front St., former home to World of Beer, the restaurant is led by Chef Andrew Smith, previously of Salt & Pine and The Rossi.

Delaware'sVeritas Tavern will be moving to 51 N. High St. in Downtown Columbus next year.

Kenny's Meat Wagon has upgraded from a cart to a full-sized food truck.

The Cheese Shop in North Market, run by Black Radish Creamery, opened this week. The shop replaces longtime vendor Curds & Whey, which closed with the owner's retirement last month.

Bibibop Asian Grill opens its newest location at 5037 N. High St. in the Graceland Shopping Center on Thursday, Oct. 27.

Asia Fusion has opened at 3512 W. Dublin-Granville Rd.

In Hilliard,Crazy Burrito Mexican Restaurant opened at 4081 Trueman Blvd. andCoffee Connections opened at 4004 Main St.

Bluescreek Farm Meats announced the opening of its café at 8120 U.S. 42 in Plain City.
