Food News: Hot Chicken Takeover opens at Easton; Bake Me Happy opens Merion Village coffee shop; Dirty Frank's West closes

Hot Chicken Takeover announced that its newest store, located at 4198 Worth Ave. at Easton, opens for business on Monday, Nov. 6.

Gluten-free bakeryBake Me Happy opens its full-service coffee shop at 116 E. Moler St. in Merion Village on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The last day in business forDirty Frank's West is Saturday, Nov. 4.

New brunch-focused cafeBlunchopened this week at 2973 N. High St. in Clintonville, former site of Bonchon.

Land-Grant Brewingannounced thatRay Ray'swill open a dedicated food truck at its taproom starting Nov. 11. Ray Ray's will be serving Thursdays through Sundays; the taproom will begin opening at 11:30 a.m. to accommodate lunch service on those days.

Veritas Tavern holds its last day of service at its Delaware location on Saturday, Nov. 4. After the closure, the eatery will move to Downtown Columbus at 11 W. Gay St. and re-open sometime in the next month. Veritas' original space, located at 15 E. Winter St. in Delaware, will be replaced by a new concept calledSpeck.

Ohio State announced that sometime next year it will demolish the campus building that has housedAdriatico's pizza for over 30 years. The pizza shop ownership said they plan to relocate the business.

Chef John Dornback ofBasi Italiahas created a small pub menu to be served on weekends atLittle Rock Bar.

TheTurkish Food Festivaltakes place on Sunday, Nov. 5. Hosted by the Turkish American Society of Ohio, the event features over 30 types of Turkish dishes.
