One of the city’s institutions is set to join the North Market. Bagel bakery and delicatessen Block's Bagels, which first opened in 1967, is set to become the market’s newest merchant. Block's will offer carryout bagels and cream cheeses, as well as classic deli sandwiches, sides like dill potato salad and deli classics such as latkes and matzo ball soup. The deli will fill the space vacated last month by Taste of Belgium, across from Destination Donuts. Look for it to launch this spring.

Small-batch coffee roaster Florin Coffee unveils its new North Linden coffee shop this week. Florin Caféowned by Hans and Joelle Hochstedler, opens its doors at 874 Oakland Park Ave. at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

The Beeline, located at 3989 Merchants Row, is Easton Town Center’s latest in a string of new nightlife options. The bar, launched by Cincinnati-based operator Four Entertainment Group, made its debut Friday, offering eight house cocktails, plus a selection of wines and craft beers. The Beeline does not offer food, which can instead be delivered or carried in from Easton neighbors such as Forbidden Root Restaurant & Brewery or Shake Shack.

The café and bakery Kolache Republic announced on social media that its last day of business will be Saturday, Feb. 8.
