Peter Pan

Experience the story of the boy who never grows up during this family-friendly performance of "Peter Pan." It's presented by Nationwide Children's Hospital's Pleasure Guild, which hosts a show annually to raise funds for the hospital and its programs. Catch "Peter Pan" March 8-10 at the Palace Theatre. Miracles & Magic

This annual magic show on Saturday, March 9 serves as a fundraiser for A Kid Again, an organization that helps children with serious illnesses. Prepare to be dazzled by various magicians at one of two performances, either 1 p.m. or 5 p.m. The show is suitable for families, and you can catch it at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets cost $21-$45.

Blooms and Butterflies

Each year, the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens celebrates spring and summer with gorgeous flowers and delicate butterflies. See the creatures emerge from their cocoons and fly through the indoor garden beginning March 9. The exhibition lasts until September 2, so there are plenty of opportunities to visit again and again. The Conservatory is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (and open late until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays). Tickets cost $11 for adults, $9 for students and seniors, $6 for those 3 to 17, and free for children 2 and younger and members.

Columbus Crew

Its soccer season once again! Cheer on the Columbus Crew during their first home game of the season on Saturday, March 16. The team will take on San Jose beginning at 5:30 p.m., and tickets start at $20 per person. Don't forget to look for Crew Cat, the official mascot, for a photo opportunity!

Eggs, Paws and Claws

There will be plenty of bunnies hopping around the Columbus Zoo during this family-friendly spring event. Eggs, Paws and Claws is taking over the zoo March 29 (5 to 8 p.m.) and March 30 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Youngsters can search for eggs, enjoy treats and take part in other seasonal activities. Zoo admission is $14.99 for ages 10-59, $10.99 for ages 60 and up, $9.99 for ages 2-9 and free for those younger than 2 (also note that parking is $7 per car).
