The Little Mermaid

Columbus Pet Expo
Animal lovers, the Columbus Pet Expo is back! From April 19-21, dogs, cats and other furry friends are taking over the Ohio Expo Center. Guests will find pet competitions, vendors, information from veterinarians and more. The expo is 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. One-day ticket prices range from $8 to $12, and children 3 and younger are free. Three-day tickets are also available.

Craftin' Outlaws Spring Show
Alternative craft fair Craftin' Outlaws is debuting a spring show! On Saturday, April 20, head to Veterans Memorial for a crafter's dream: They'll have more than 75 vendors showcasing jewelry, art, clothing and more. Craftin' Outlaws runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission is free. For family fun, there will be food, games and music.

Earth Day Celebration
The Columbus Zoo is celebrating Earth Day on Saturday, April 20 with an exciting lineup of events. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., kids can meet zoo characters, learn about conservation and the environment, and check out various exhibitions. Zoo admission is $14.99 for ages 10-59, $9.99 for ages 60 and up, $9.99 for ages 2-9 and free for those under 2 (also note that parking is $7 per car).

March for Babies
Support the March of Dimes and its 75th anniversary at the Greater Columbus March for Babies on Sunday, April 28. It's a three mile walk, and participants are encouraged to gather friends and family to form a team and set a fundraising goal. They'll also have a kids' area, food and entertainment. Registration is at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m.
