Sports preview: The Memorial offers fun to more than just golf fans

You don't have to be a golf enthusiast to enjoy this year's Memorial Tournament. With a four-day party scene, live music from some of Columbus' top bands and an array of alcoholic beverages, you won't want to miss out on this epic event. The 38th Memorial Tournament tees off Monday at Muirfield Village Golf Club and will wrap up the following week onJune 1. The list is stacked with elite players from countries all over the world, all of whom are working tirelessly to achieve one prize: a green blazer and cash winnings of $1,116,000. Patron's Paradise

Located in the heart of the tournament between the Hole No. 10 fairway and No. 14 green, Patron Village welcomes you to chill on the patio and watch the tournament in a luxurious setting. Expect to be pampered with upgraded food and beverage selections, special merchandise and access to an official tournament social media hub.

Bumping at the Bunker

The Bunker's the place to be after the conclusion of the Memorial each evening,Thursday-Saturdaystarting at4:30 p.m.Located across from Tee No. 16 at the Country Club at Muirfield Village, you can enjoy live music and snack on tasty treats from your choice of three food trucks. Thirsty? Not a problem, because four cash bars will serve some of Bunker's favorite imports as well as some of Columbus' most flavorful cocktails. Streakers, founders and honorees oh my! Last year's Presidents Cup featured a female streaker, and who knows what kind of guest [nude] appearances will be spotted at the Memorial Tournament this year. Regardless, you can definitely expect legendary golfer and Upper Arlington native, Jack Nicklaus, founder of the tournament and this year's host. Also, the 2014 Tournament Honoree, retired Swedish golfer Annika Sorenstam, one of the most successful women golfers in history, will be recognized for her achievements.
