Fashion: What are you wearing, Crys Darling?

Abernathy Miller, Columbus Alive

Hair: "I have naturally curly hair, so I always do a pin-up style. It looks glamorous and keeps the hair out of my eyes.

Kerchief: Gifted. "This used to belong to my friend's mother. She gave me this and a slew of other vintage gloves and purses because she knew I'd appreciate and wear them."

Glasses: Retro style from C Eyewear. "I like expensive glasses because I have to wear them every day, and if they are an expensive style fewer people will have them!"

Top: Thrifted. "I love that the buttons look like gemstones and it's metallic. If I'm painting, I'm normally using metallic colors."

Skirt: Gifted. "This was a hand-me-down from a friend. It had some stains on it, so I painted the little cherries to cover them."

Ring: By Sarah K. of Westwood Underground. "This ring is my pride and joy. It was made from an old wall tile by this amazing artist, Sarah Kay."

Necklace: Gifted. "This necklace is my other pride and joy. The cupcake charm was given to me by Trulie Scrumptious after our first fashion show together, and the key and heart charms were given to me by my friend Miriam after another show. I thought, 'Shouldn't I be giving you gifts?'"

Shoes: Re-purposed. "These shoes were scuffed up, but I didn't want to get rid of them because they were so comfortable. So before the Label Yourself fashion show at Drauma, I painted and adorned them. I haven't taken them off since."
