Boutique profile: MADE Flagship Store gives you one more shop to rep your Ohio pride

Ohio culture relayed through fashion is becoming a more crowded market than one would've envisioned a decade ago. Even Columbus urban culture was unexplainable for the longest time. And while many have attempted to represent Ohio through T-shirts, hats, etc., only a handful have pulled it off correctly. MADE by NGO is one of those.

Opening its flagship store in the Short North in early October, MADE now has a spot where customers and fans can get their hands on the gear without making a special order.

"A lot of people were asking me where [to] get my products, and it was online or pop-up shops only for a while," said MADE founder and owner Ngockhahn Ngo. "Now I have my own spot where everyone can pick up my brand."

With a rise in the state's confidence, partially due to the return of LeBron James to the Cleveland Cavaliers and a new-look Browns team, Ohio is excited again. Ngo is looking to capitalize on it while doing his best to represent beyond.

"A lot of positivity is happening in Ohio, and I wanted to present it the right way through fashion," he said.

Currently the shop sells shirts (both long sleeve and tee), hats and hoodies; however, Ngo is looking to expand. A tee will cost you $32, while a hoodie will run you in the $60-$70 range. Stop in today and see what the next wave of Ohio fashion has to offer.
