"Alice in Wonderland"

Those looking for substance over style will be disappointed. Tim Burton's take encompasses the best aspects of "Alice" but fails to be innovative. Grade: B


In his Golden Globe-winning new film, writer-director James Cameron once again combines brilliant imagery and grade-school-level storytelling. Grade: B-

"Brooklyn's Finest"

Director Antoine Fuqua's gritty, ultra-violent crime drama is predictable, with heavy-handed themes about choices and consequences. Grade: C+
