Since 2001, the Cape Farewell project has led seven expeditions to the high arctic - and one to Peru - to study the effects of climate change. Each trip involves scientists as well as artists to get diverse perspectives on this deeply challenging and controversial topic. Next Wednesday, past project participants will come together for a panel discussion to share their first-hand experiences. The panel includes Cape Farewell founder David Buckland, leading advisor for "An Inconvenient Truth;" renowned Ohio State scientist Lonnie Thompson (pictured); musician and author Paul Miller (aka DJ Spooky); landscape designer and activist Edwina von Gal; photographer Mitch Epstein; and artist Alexis Rockman.
