If you're in need of a little adventure and can't get away for the weekend, stop by the Drexel this Saturday and Sunday for the 27th-annual 24-Hour Sci-Fi Marathon. Created with longtime sci-fi fans and curious newbies in mind, the two-day film fest is a cornucopia of classics, Ohio premieres, cartoons, trailers and everything in between. Although last-minute changes to the lineup are expected, confirmed films so far include oldie-but-goodies "Battle in Outer Space," "2010" and "Galaxina," along with newer releases by the husband-and-wife team Jamin and Kiowa Winans ("Ink"), and the Sam Rockwell-starring "Moon." Don't forget to bring a pillow and blanket, but do hold off on bringing in food - tasty treats will be available at the Radio Cafe. If you don't think you can hang for the full 24 hours ($32), you can still get your fix during the Halfthon for 17 bucks.

When: Noon-noon Saturday-Sunday, April 17-18

Where: Drexel Theatre, Bexley
