Staff Pick: Bill Cunningham New York

Staff Writer
Columbus Alive

For more than three decades, Bill Cunningham has been photographing the fashion-savvy streets of New York for The New York Times by riding through the city on his bike and capturing candid shots.

Cunningham's introspective work addresses society's compulsion with looking good, and it's truly revolutionary. Tonight's members-only Wexner Center screening of the documentary "Bill Cunningham New York" takes you inside the life of a self-proclaimed "drab and dreary dresser" who's one of the best at creating a visual history of fashion's impact.
