Movie review: There Be Dragons
The historical drama "There Be Dragons" has a few strikes against it.
It's an underachieving epic, with recycled sets and a below-par cast. Toss in some truly melodramatic dialogue, and you get a lot of failed potential.
It follows the interwoven stories of a saint and a sinner during the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s. There's betrayal, there's forgiveness and there's a little background on Opus Dei, the organization sinisterly depicted in "The DaVinci Code."
Overall, there be lots of reasons to skip it.
