You're probably thinking about Goodale Park as Ground Zero for this weekend's Pride or next weekend's ComFest, but look further down the calendar for some great open-air movie options.

The 2013 lineup for Screen on the Green has been announced, and it's looking like a lot of fun.

  • "Back to the Future" - July 12, 8:30 p.m.
  • "Mean Girls" - August 9, 8:00 p.m.
  • "Despicable Me" - September 13, 7:00 p.m.

The "Back to the Future" showing will be emceed by Columbus biggest fan of the film, Tim Fulton of teamtim trivia fame. The other two shows will be hosted by the official drag queen ambassador of Columbus, Ohio, the fantabulous Nina West!

Attendees can bring blankets and lawnchairs to the southwest corner of the park (near the baseball/kickball diamond). Food trucks will be on hand, because this is Columbus, dammit. Trucks will include Green Meanie Food Truck, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, Pattycake Bakery, Short North Bagel Deli, and Swoop! Food Truck.

Kicking off this week is another great (and free) outdoor movie series, the Wex Drive-In. Here's the schedule for that series, which starts around dusk (9 p.m.-ish) just outside of the Wexner Center for the Arts.

  • "Bride of Frankenstein" - Thursday, June 20
  • "The Graduate" - Thursday, July 18'
  • "The Fantastic Mr. Fox" - Thursday, August 15
