Staff Pick: Leave your DeLorean at home for "Back to the Future" screening

Goodale Park has officially recovered from ComFest, and it’s ready to play hostess to a fun night out once more.

Set your time travel dial to dusk this Friday for the first of this year’s Screen on the Green, a series during which classic movies are shown on a 30-foot movie screen at Goodale’s softball diamond. This year’s inaugural movie is the first (and best) “Back to the Future.”

Catch classic cartoons before the movie starts rolling and grab a bite to eat from the few food carts and trucks on hand. Funds will go directly to saving the town clock tower.

Pro-tip: Don’t be a Biff Tannen and sit your lawn chair directly in front of someone on a blanket; pack both seating options. Also, sorry, no special discounts on DeLorean and skateboard parking.
