"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows"

The Michael Bay-produced "TMNT" was utterly bizarre and not very good, and now it's back for another big-screen sequel. Hard pass.

"Me Before You"

Emilia Clarke ("Game of Thrones") stars as an Englishwoman who forms an unexpected bond with a wealthy paralyzed man. Break out the hankies.

"The Congressman"

This surprisingly charming indie stars Treat Williams as a Maine congressman who finds himself embroiled in controversy. Think "Mr. Smith Goes to Lobster Country." (Gateway Film Center, 3 stars)
