Rocktober: Mute Math

Like some mutant cyborg version of Maroon 5 with occasional flourishes stretching from Radiohead to Ted Leo, Mute Math is an anomaly among slick, radio-ready pop-rockers. Their music is still slick, radio-ready pop-rock at its core, though, with all the stylistic aberrations folded seamlessly into the mix.
