Music: Leonard Cohen

If they know him at all, most folks these days know Leonard Cohen as the author and original performer of "Hallelujah," the song rocketed to popularity thanks to covers by Rufus Wainwright, k.d. lang and, most famously, the late Jeff Buckley. But don't expect fey falsetto trills when Cohen holes up at the Palace during his first tour in 15 years. His droll, stoic baritone will be the featured instrument for bringing his celebrated poetic skills to the stage. This tour seemed in jeopardy after Cohen collapsed on stage in Valencia, Spain, last month, but Cohen is healthy and back in action.
