Music: A Sunny Day in Glasgow at Cafe Bourbon Street

The music is light-drenched to be sure, hazy dream-pop that sounds like the audio equivalent of blinding solar rays. But it's far too fantastical and otherworldly to correspond with this sober earthly realm.

The Philadelphia sextet (confusing, huh?) gorges on ethereal keyboards and swirling female choral arrangements, sung in large part by Daniels' twin sisters Robin and Lauren. And they do it well; last year's "Ashes Grammar" was one of the finest slabs of shimmering, spectral sound in recent memory.

Pulling off something so serene in the stark confines of Cafe Bourbon Street would be quite the feat.
