Here's a relevant question for Sublime fans: How much do you value hearing the original rhythm section? Hard-touring tribute band Badfish has been bringing Bradley Nowell's stoner ska to life for a decade now, and likely making a killing doing so. Now official Sublime bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh are cashing in on that interest by returning to the road themselves with guest singer-guitarist Rome Ramirez playing the role of Nowell. Does that make their Nowell-free show more authentic than Badfish's Nowell-free show? Friday is this city's first chance to decide.
