Staff Pick: Weird Al Yankovic at the LC

Hard to believe, but "Weird Al" Yankovic has been at it for more than three decades, and this weekend, America's song-parody poet laureate is coming to town.

Sure, some of the parodies are dated, and you may have to explain to the kids who Coolio is during "Amish Paradise," but Al will also bust out some of his timeless originals at the outdoor LC show.

Also, expect one of his signature polka medleys riffing on the current state of pop music. The latest, borrowing its brilliant title from Lady Gaga, is known as "Polka Face."
