Muse at the Schott

The sharp and entertaining Twitter account @Discographies nailed Muse when it summarized the band's recorded output like this: "As a soundwave travels rapidly from Radiohead through Rush and towards Queen, its perceived tone becomes excruciatingly painful."

They've certainly had a long and profitable career considering they started out as little more than a Radiohead knockoff with a few good singles. We have to hand it to them. Eleven years ago these guys were relative nobodies who lucked into opening for the Chili Peppers at the Schott. Now they're headlining the place, cult fan base firmly entrenched. Metric will open.
