Fred and Toody Cole have probably been rocking longer than you've been living. They spent two decades of that tenure playing in Dead Moon, a Portland garage rock band whose dirty-ass country punk would likely make your parents puke.

Now they're touring under the Pierced Arrows guise, lending a sugary sweetness to gruesome, primitive rock 'n' roll. Their passion in person is said to be incomparable. Next Thursday at Cafe Bourbon Street is your chance to find out. Sandwich and The Ferals provide appropriate accompaniment.
