Young Jeezy at BoMA

Is there a more commanding voice in rap right now than Young Jeezy? The Atlanta coke-rap king's harsh and heavy bark makes even his most ridiculous lines sound like divine dispatches from some excitable ghetto god.

Some would argue challengers like Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame have spent the past couple years knocking Jeezy off the throne. But there's an element of inherent musical genius to Jeezy's flows that fellow hustlers can't quite replicate.

His gig Saturday at BoMA was supposed to celebrate new album "TM 103." There's no release in sight for the record, but chances are this show will be triumphant anyway.
