Cult of Youth at Skully's

The third installment of Scotty Niemet's "harder, darker, deeper" dance night KVLT (pronounced "cult") welcomes Brooklyn goth folkies Cult of Youth.

The Sacred Bones signees beget militaristic tunes with frigid hearts and boiling blood. Hearty acoustic strums and brisk percussion coexist with angular bass and New Wave synths, tied together by Sean Ragon's ominous Ian Curtis bellows. It's inspiring and frightening at equal turns.

Funerals and You will play too, plus DJ sets from Niemet, Nathan Snell and Casey Immel-Brown.
