Here We Go Magic at the Wex

Here We Go Magic is an appropriate enough name for a band whose music sounds enchanted. Luke Temple's psychedelic pop combo leaves an especially dreamy impression, bearing none of the flamboyant acid flashback madness associated with Of Montreal and the like. It's more like finely tuned mood music with a visceral push, invoking a world where every day is a holiday and every memory is shrouded in a pleasant, glimmering aura.

Sweet, sighing folk-pop collective Super Desserts will make a fine opening act.
