Damien Jurado

The Treehouse

9 p.m. Sunday, May 22

887 Chambers Rd., Grandview

Damien Jurado's most popular song in Ohio is, naturally, "Ohio," but the sad-eyed Seattle folkie has covered a lot of ground musically since that 1999 ballad, including last year's gussied-up "Saint Bartlett."

Jurado brought a relatively huge stage show to The Summit last summer in support of that record, but for Sunday's show at The Treehouse he'll be back to his usual folk-singer minimalism. Local kindred spirits Winter Makes Sailors and Jurado superfan/collaborator Joel Walter will open.

Dierks Bentley

LC Pavilion

6 p.m. Sunday, May 22

405 Neil Ave., Arena District

Before playing a set of country hits Sunday evening at the LC, Dierks Bentley will host a charity motorcycle ride to benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital.
