Preview: Krayzie Bone at Skully's

Chris DeVille, Columbus Alive

Much to his Bone-mates' dismay, Krayzie Bone quit Bone Thugs-n-Harmony last year after two decades with the revolutionary rap group. While the split was bad news for anybody holding out for vital new music from the original lineup (hey, I liked "I Tried"), the good news is Krayzie's solo material is banging. "Get'chu Twisted" alone validates his boasts that you've never heard a rapper quite like Krayzie. Who else can smash a verse at full sprint without compromising his ear for melody?

He'll be both thuggish and ruggish in person Friday at Skully's with Ray Cash.
