It's only Tuesday, and I've already been compelled to post twice about new Columbus concert announcements. Well, here's a third dispatch:

Wavves and FIDLAR (short for F--- It Dog, Life's A Risk) are two snotty California rock bands with great new 2013 albums. (Well, Wavves' record doesn't drop until March, and I haven't heard most of it yet, but the first two singles are fire.) They're coming to The Basement together on April 2. Cheatahs opens the show. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $15 plus fees.

Two days later, Margot and the Nuclear So & So's, the artful folk-rock combo featuring Columbus expat Erik Kang, will be back at The Basement too. That one's on sale now for $12 plus fees.

Meanwhile, cult favorite Americana songwriter Todd Snider will be back in Columbus at the Southern Theatre on March 12 in support of last year's album Agnostic Hymns & Stoner Fables. Tickets for that one cost $25 plus fees; official on-sale is 10 a.m. Friday, but a CAPA presale runs 10 a.m. Wednesday to 10 p.m. Thursday.
