Big concert news today: Spiritualized, the great gospel-tinged depressive psychedelic rock band fronted by Spaceman 3's Jason Pierce, will play the Wexner Center on Saturday, July 13. Tickets cost $22 and are on sale now.

What else has been popping up on the Columbus concert calendar? Well, burly hard rock road warriors Clutch return on Friday, Nov. 22 at the indoor LC. The Sword and American Sharks open. Starting this Friday at 10 a.m., tickets cost $25 ($32.85 with fees).

Summertime staples Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes play the outdoor LC on Thursday, Aug. 29. Those tickets also cost $25 ($32.85 with fees) and also go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday.

The ambitious metalcore actCirca Surviveplays Newport Music Hall on Wednesday, Aug. 21. Tickets for that one cost $20 ($26.85 with fees), and they go on sale - you guessed it! - 10 a.m. this Friday.

Natasha Khan's brooding synth-pop projectBat for Lashesplays the Newport on Friday, Aug. 23. Tickets are on sale now for $20 ($26.85 with fees).

Lastly, of particular local interest, the great Cleveland weird-punk forefathersPere Ubuwill play The Basement on Monday, Sept. 9. That show went on sale a couple weeks back, but tickets are still available for $15 ($20.85 with fees).
