Concert preview: Lukas Nelson's Woodlands double dip promises to be real good

Chris DeVille, Columbus Alive

Relevant fact No. 1: Lukas Nelson is Willie Nelson's son. (Sorry Lukas, that will always be relevant fact No. 1).

Relevant fact No. 2: The younger Nelson ain't half bad!

Relevant fact No. 3: Columbus has been good to Nelson, so Nelson is being good to Columbus. The legacy roots rocker returns to Woodlands for a two-night stand Tuesday and Wednesday.

Relevant fact No. 4: More specifically, Woodlands Tavern has been good to Nelson. That he's playing two nights there rather than one night somewhere bigger (like the Lincoln, where he once headlined) speaks to his keen connection with the Grandview bar. It'll surely be a great place to see an Americana prince do his thing up close and personal.
