Concert preview: The Dwarves and The Queers finally get together for a one-stop shop of punk rock juvenilia

Yep, it’s the Dwarves/Queers show. Not sure how it took this long for these bands to figure out they should tour together, but it makes for a one-stop shop for punk rock juvenilia. (What, you thought it was one of those parties Stefon always talked up on SNL?)

That’s not a diss; punk rock juvenilia can be rad. Sunday in Columbus, it’ll almost certainly be rad. These bands have spent decades doing nothing but roughing up audiences in mid-size rock bars like Ace of Cups.

Local punk bands Betty Machete and the Angry Cougars and Sick Thrills (boasting a new lineup) open Sunday’s show.
